Thermography vs Mammography

THERMOGRAPHY is becoming recognised more and more world-wide. Critics in the medical profession still discredit this procedure and hold mammography as being far superior. Both have their place and both have their positive and negative points. If a woman is unable to or prefers not to have radiation to her breast via repeated mammograms, or finds the procedure too painful then Thermography is an excellent option. It is claimed that Thermography may pick up cancer earlier because it detects the blood vessel changes far before a mammogram detectable lump appears. This information is strongly denied by health authorities. It is up to the woman to get independant advice.
